Overview

Veronika V. Dubrovskaya, M.D. is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. She received her BA from the University of California San Diego and her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. She completed her residency at Beth Israel Medical Center and her gastroenterology fellowship training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in 2008. During her fellowship in gastroenterology, she sought additional training in hepatology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

After the completion of her training, Dr. Dubrovskaya became an Assistant Professor of Medicine and the Director of Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Dubrovskaya headed an esophageal and anorectal motility clinic during her five years there. From 2013-2014, Dr. Dubrovskaya served as the program director of the gastroenterology fellowship program at SUNY Downstate.

Her clinical interests span the entire breadth of gastroenterology and endoscopy, with a particular emphasis on the treatment of hepatitis and other disorders of the liver. She has a special interest in motility disorders and performs both esophageal manometry and anorectal manometry. In addition, she specializes in esophageal impedance / Bravo pH testing.

Dr. Dubrovskaya is a member of ASGE, ACG, AGA, AASLD, NYSGE, NYSGE and ANMS.

Dr. Dubrovskaya is an attending physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center. She is fluent in Russian and Spanish and has a working knowledge of French. She is available for consultation at our 535 5th Avenue and our William Street locations. Book an appointment today.
