is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He received his B.A. from Cornell University and his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, having been selected as chief medical resident, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He was the recipient of the prestigious John O. Vieta Award. He also received the Department of Medicine Award for Academic Excellence.

Dr. Kim is the founding partner of Gotham Gastroenterology. He is an Attending Physician at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital and is actively involved in the teaching of interns, residents and GI fellows.

Dr. Kim is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
