Gastroenterology
In addition to general gastroenterology, I have a strong interest in helping individuals affected by liver disease. My desire is to help individuals understand their health issues. Once this understanding is established, I like to work with patients in a collaborative effort to make sure that health needs are managed and that individual concerns are addressed.
A gastroenterologist is a healthcare professional who has been educated and trained to treat patients who are experiencing health problems or have diseases that affect the gastrointestinal tract and liver. They also diagnose and treat diseases that affect the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver.
