Dr. Carlson is board certified in family medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College in Iowa and earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa-Iowa City. He completed both his internship and residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Carlson enjoys travel, camping, kayaking, biking, water skiing, snow skiing, motorcycling, technology, and the arts.
