This doctor is not who you want as your primary. I had a visit with her last week and she was super hasty and short with me. She never lifted her head from the laptop screen and when I asked about my annual physical, which is the reason I scheduled a visit, she finally left the laptop screen only to use the stethoscope on me. This was not a physical, she hardly heeded to my concerns when addressing how I’ve been feeling. The nurse did a strange exam prior to the doctor coming in and the doctor didn’t even discuss the findings with me at all. They did an EKG and didn’t discuss any findings with me. It was like they were just running up my insurance. She was very hasty to try and leave the exam room and end the appointment without saying or doing much at all, and at one point when I began to say something about adverse reactions to a prescription that she was prescribing, she cut me off and and rudely told me that she only takes care of one thing per visit... ok but what about the adverse reaction that I am aware of with the prescription that you are prescribing?? We’ll talk about it after my body adversely reacts? It was brute, rude, and unprofessional. I couldn’t take the prescription and had to look for a new doctor to be seen properly... this was like the express line and not what you’d expect from a primary care doctor. My mother grew old with her primary care doctor. This woman seems to not care if she ever sees you again. Very much a “urgent care” vibe. I will not be back and I suggest you seek care elsewhere. This experience actually reminded me of the movie REQUIEM FOR A DREAM where the doctor hardly looked at the lady patient and blindly gave the elderly lady diet pills that inevitably caused addiction. The care of the early 80s era.
