In addition to her position at Summit Health, Claudia A. Wagner, MD, is Attending Physician in the Department of Family Medicine at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. She is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Medical School in New Brunswick, and she is a volunteer faculty member of the Overlook Hospital Family Practice Residency Program.



Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Wagner practiced with Paramount Medical Group/Westfield Family Practice in Westfield, New Jersey. She has been Vice Chair and Secretary of the Overlook Medical Center Department of Family Medicine and a member of the Overlook Medical Center Medical Staff Executive Committee.



Dr. Wagner is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. She is listed in the Consumer's Guide to Top Doctors.



Dr. Wagner notes, "The concept of continuous care for the family, with emphasis on preventive and behavioral health inspired me to become a family practitioner." She adds, "I most value quality care that is delivered in a compassionate, collaborative manner."



When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Wagner enjoys activities with her husband and 2 children as well as running, tennis, reading, and music
