Overview

Roohi Khanna, DO is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team. Dr. Khanna’s areas of expertise includes primary care and women’s health with supplemental training in preventive care, IUD insertion and removal, contraception counseling, and obesity medicine.



Prior to joining Summit Health, Dr. Khanna worked as Primary Care and Women's Health Provider for Community Medical Associates in Andover, MA. While there, she led the startup and establishment of a small community outpatient center.



Dr. Khanna does not limit her care to her patient’s ailments but her philosophy rather, is to approach the patient as a whole. She believes in spending quality time with them, getting to know the individual, their family and their full medical history. Dr. Khanna trusts that the body has a unique ability to heal itself. “With daily modifications and a healthy lifestyle, we can help our bodies heal.”



Dr. Khanna is proud to have served as Chief Resident for her Family Medicine residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association, and the Student Osteopathic Medical Association.



When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Khanna can be found spending quality time with her husband and young baby. She enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors and traveling.
