Dr. Kroll, a 1964 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, has been helping patients with chronic pain since April 2011. After a successful 43 year career as an ophthalmic surgeon and tempered by his own 40+ year continuing daily battle with chronic pain he saw the need for an ethical, compassionate approach to chronic pain management. After receiving his medical degree he completed an internship and a three-year residency in ophthalmology in Chicago. He established a private eye surgery practice in San Jose California from 1968 through 1985. While in San Jose he was a member of the faculty of Stanford University Medical School.
