Cindy Mitch-Gomez, M.D., is a family medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care and member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 180 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. She has more than 25 years of experience providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients over age 16. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Mitch-Gomez specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of health issues, including simple and complex health conditions, chronic disease management, minor emergencies, urgent care and the coordination of specialty care. She also practices preventive medicine, helping patients take measures to prevent disease, decrease disability and maintain good health. Her areas of specialty include women’s health and eating disorders. Dr. Mitch-Gomez earned her medical degree at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Mitch-Gomez is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
