Overview

At a young age, I had an interest in science, cosmetics, and skincare and wanted to be a dermatologist or work in research and development for cosmetic products. During college, I explored different career choices and when I learned about the option of becoming a physician assistant, it sounded like the best fit for me. Before starting physician assistant school, I worked as a medical assistant in ear, nose and throat and realized that it is a specialty I really enjoy. I like the diversity of the patient population and the variety of conditions we treat. I believe that knowledge is power, so I take care in educating my patients on their medical conditions, treatment options and anticipated outcomes so they can make the most informed decision in their care plan. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walks in nature, anything to do with animals, podcasts, reading, comedy, and musical theater.

Specialities

  • ENT

Otolaryngologists are more commonly called ENTs, which stands for ear, nose, and throat. ENTs are medical professionals that are trained to diagnose and treat diseases and illnesses that affect the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They can treat serious diseases, such as cancer, or simple health problems, such as strep throat.

  • Physician Assistant

A Physician Assistant is a medical professional who works with a team of other doctors to diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and health disorders. They are legally licensed to practice medicine, though they do not go through the same rigorous schooling as doctors. However, these professionals are more than able to help patients with most medical conditions, and they work alongside doctors to ensure they can give adequate care to their patients.
