This man does not care about the patients he sees. You are a body part, a number, and "it"... He lacks compassion and empathy, is completely uninterested in you as a person, doesn't care about you at all. When you are done in the ER he doesn't make sure you have the prescription he said he'd give you - the nurse didn't know I was to get one and had to go back and ask when I asked about it, no discharge instructions, nothing. If you have any questions he didn't answer when he walked away, good luck getting them answered as he won't come back to the cubicle where you are to answer them. You have to rely on the nurse to go back and forth to get them answered (and the ER was not busy and there were empty cubicles). I had a swollen, sprained ankle and he didn't even offer an ace bandage. Because of that I am not sure how competent he is. I hope to never, ever to see this particular physician again. He behaves like an unmitigated jerk who doesn't give a hoot about you.
On his physician notes he claims I arrived in a wheelchair. Nope. The ER didn't give me a wheelchair despite asking several times. Instead I was forced to walk on a sprained ankle which drove my blood pressure way up due to the pain. He also claims he explained everything to me and my family/caregiver. Nope I drive myself and was alone. The notes said all I had was a scraped up leg. Umm then the obvious swelling and bruising of my ankle was invisible then? He is incredibly careless in his notes and how I was cared for.
