Dr. Patel was the rudest and most careless doctor I have ever come across. My father went into Elmhurst hospital with a positive Covid test and Dr. Patel told him that he was “overreacting” and to get out of the bed because it “wasn’t a hotel” after rushing my father out of the hospital, he was later admitted to another hospital that next day where they told him that he does have Covid, and also had C-Diff and if they didn’t catch it when they did it would have been fatal. My father was extremely weak and couldn’t even walk, yet he was being rushed out as if nothing was wrong with him. This doctor made no effort to diagnosis my father and made no effort to even follow his oath as a healthcare practitioner to do his job and take care of him. I would not recommend a single person to him.
