I became a dietitian because I enjoyed learning about food science in college and have always wanted to make a difference in how people view food. From an early age, I knew that I wanted to help others build a healthy lifestyle. I love to cook, try new foods and discuss recipes. My work as a lifestyle educator prepared me for dietetic training. My philosophy is to meet my patients where they are currently. I hope to be their nutrition coach, teacher and cheerleader, enabling them to feel empowered to improve their overall health through lifestyle changes that work for them. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, entertaining friends and family, hunting, and fishing. Other hobbies include gardening, swimming and yoga.

Dietitians determine the dietary needs of patients, create and modify meal plans, offer nutritional counseling to their patients, and track patient weight loss and weight gain for progress.
A pediatrician is a healthcare professional who specializes in treating children. They offer physical, behavioral, and mental care for children from birth until age 18. They diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and health problems as well as more serious health conditions.They also monitor children with checkups to make sure they are growing properly and hitting the correct milestones.
