Dr. Tamsyn Burkett is a general dentist originally from Washington state, but has been a resident of Las Vegas since 2008. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from UNLV, where she received the prestigious Thomas P. Nowlin Award for excellence in educational integrity, clinical performance, and humility. She also received the Huntridge Homeless Project Community Service Award, and The International College of Dentists Leadership Award. Prior to completing dental school, Dr. Burkett worked as a dental assistant and then as a dental hygienist. She has worked in dentistry for more than 22 years.

Dr. Burkett is passionate about continuing her education and is currently pursuing her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Burkett is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Nevada Dental Association, the Southern Nevada Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is certified with Invisalign, has taken several courses on facial esthetics and dermal fillers, and is very proficient in the administration of Botox for an overall rejuvenated appearance. In the last three years, Dr. Burkett has completed over 400 hours of continuing education. 150 of those hours were pertaining specifically to dental implants. She is committed to staying at the forefront of technology and treatment modalities in dentistry so that she can deliver the highest level of care to her patients. She strives to efficiently deliver the most modern treatments, gently and with TLC.
