She then completed her dental training to earn her doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, she developed a strong interest in periodontics and was inducted into the Honors Program in Periodontics and received the AAP Student Award for Outstanding Achievements in Periodontics upon graduation.
