Dr. Amanda Tavoularis’ commitment to excellence started during her training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 1995. An active member of UW’s Executive Alumni Board since 1996, she also served as President of the UW Dental Alumni Association from 2003-2004.

Her purpose to stay at the forefront of dentistry led to the comprehensive nine-course education curriculum offered by the prestigious Kois Center located in Seattle. Dr. Tavoularis completed over 200 hours of didactic and hands-on continuing education encompassing all clinical areas of dentistry. Earning the distinction of a Kois Certified Dentist.

In 2018 she earned the honor of Kois Mentor status. Dr. Tavoularis’ ability to provide comprehensive, health-centered dentistry mixes natural function with stunning aesthetics. She maintains an active practice in Lynnwood/Edmonds, WA (doctorav.com) and is one of our experts that helps us bring you the latest on dental health and wellness.

Dr. Tavoularis belongs to the Wellness Dentistry Network, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association and the Snohomish County Dental Association. She has served on the Kois Curriculum Committee. She also volunteers in local schools presenting oral-health programs, and serves on several community dental task forces.
