Colorectal Surgery
Dr. Sun focuses his practice on the treatment of colon and rectal cancers as well as pelvic floor pathology. He specializes in diagnosing and treating a full range of anal rectal conditions and colon and rectal cancers.
Dr. Sun graduated with honors from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has done extensive research and published many journal articles. Dr. Sun completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota and won the prestigious Carl E. Christenson Outstanding Scholar Award. He received the Durand Smith Award from the Chicago Colon and Rectal Surgeons for his research work.
