Overview

The first time I noticed my lower back pain was when I played high school football. It got worse over the years, intensified by jobs that involved manual labor. I would wake up in the morning with so much pain and stiffness that I would need to spend at least twenty minutes carefully stretching and warming up my back before I could even get out of bed. My wife had been going to a chiropractor for a few years, seeing great improvements in her health, so eventually I swallowed my pride and followed her example. My life was quickly transformed, and I’ve never looked back. I no longer need to warm up my back in the morning. My back no longer “goes out” periodically. My wife no longer has constant headaches. I am grateful for what chiropractic has done for my wife and me. I became a chiropractor because I want others to experience the same life-changing benefits that I have. Too many people are living with chronic pain, feeling discouraged by failed attempts at treatment. I have seen firsthand what chiropractic can do, and I am happy to dedicate my time and energy to educating and treating my patients so that they can live their lives to the fullest.

As far as my professional history goes, I guess you could say I took the scenic route on my way to becoming a chiropractor. I graduated from the University of Utah with a business degree and worked a desk job for a few years. After receiving some inspiration, we decided to go back to school, so I quit my job and uprooted my little family of four. We moved to Texas to attend Parker University, where I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Our family grew a little bit in Texas (of course we are proud to have a Texan in our family), and the five of us came back to Utah, where my wife and I were born and raised, ready to serve.
