Dr. Gupta would complete an Cardiology fellowship followed by the fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Between fellowships, Dr. Gupta completed a Master of Science in Clinical Science there as well.
Dr. Gupta has been an avid researcher in heart failure and has published several articles in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and European Heart Journal. He also received the Young Investigator Award from the American Heart Association in 2010.
