Anas Alomar, M.D., is a cardiologist in practice at HeartPlace North Hills in North Richland Hills. He is currently accepting new patients. Board certified in interventional cardiology, vascular medicine, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear medicine, echocardiography, and internal medicine, his medical interest and clinical focus is coronary and peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Alomar treats a variety of conditions, including complex coronary interventions especially via the radial artery (arm) approach. He has a keen interest in caring for patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). This includes treatment of atherosclerosis in the lower extremities, upper extremities and renal arteries utilizing percutaneous interventional (nonsurgical) procedures. He performs limb salvage procedures to restore blood flow to the legs and feet in patients with advanced peripheral arterial disease. Such procedures facilitate wound healing in ulcers arising from poor blood supply and can obviate the need for amputation or surgery. Dr Alomar also has an interest in venous disease including catheter-directed treatment of venous thrombosis in the lower extremities, upper extremities and pulmonary arteries. He performs procedures to treat venous insufficiency and varicose veins as well.

A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Alomar earned his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine. He is associated with a variety of local hospitals, including Medical Center Alliance, North Hills Hospital, Baylor All Saints Hospital at Fort Worth, Texas General Hospital, and Baylor Heart & Vascular Hospital.
