Cardiology
My fascination with the heart and how it functions motivated me to focus my training on cardiovascular medicine. Much of cardiac disease can be avoided or prevented through changes in lifestyle in conjunction with medications. I intentionally take my time to listen to my patients’ health goals so that we are able to work as a team to improve their quality of life and better manage their heart disease.
Cardiology is a specialty of medicine which deals with problems of heart, arteries and veins. Doctors specializing in Cardiology are called Cardiologists and they treat conditions like heart attack, leaky or narrow valves, heart failure and more.
