A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Christopher D. Powers, MD, FACC received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Peoria and his cardiology fellowship at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Board-certified in cardiology, Dr. Powers is the Immunization Director for the US Air National Guard 182nd Airlift Wing Medical Unit. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association and the Vascular Biology Working Group.
