Dr. Jay Joseph is a graduate of Louisiana State University and obtained his medical degree at the Louisiana State School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Joseph completed his fellowship in general cardiology at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky. Prior to seeing patients at Georgia Heart Institute, Dr. Joseph served as the medical director of the cardiac care unit at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. In addition to general cardiology, he also has an interest in nuclear, CT and PET cardiac imaging, echocardiography, cardiac prevention, and cardiac pacing.
