Dr. Azzoli has spent over half of his life working in an operating room in various roles. He began as a surgical technician at 18 years of age, working full time while matriculated in university, eventually graduating summa cum laude. After finishing his undergraduate and medical degrees with honors at Wayne State University in his hometown of Detroit, he trained in Anesthesiology at New York University. Upon graduation, he remained at NYU for three years, as Associate Professor, teaching residents the science and art of Anesthesiology. He scored in the top percentile to secure his board certification.
