Overview

DiCesare Orthopedic Medicine was founded in 2020 by leading sports medicine physician Dr. Jacob DiCesare. Seeing a need for an orthopedic practice that wasn’t merely a “one-size-fits-all” model, our practice was founded on the philosophy of patient-focused care that makes use of alternative treatment modalities. Hospital owned orthopedic practices have traditionally provided a method of care for patients that is quick to perform surgery or prescribe steroids, which doesn’t always fare well for a patient's long-term health and vitality. At DiCesare Orthopedic Medicine, we believe strongly in locating the source of each patient’s pain, and treating it using the latest techniques in regenerative medicine.

Dr. Jacob DiCesare specializes in non-surgical treatment options. Known as "The Gentle Injector," Dr. DiCesare is a national expert on steroid injections and joint injections, and has instructed physicians across the globe on the ideal joint injection technique. This has earned our practice a reputation as being the go-to practice for surgical alternatives.

An orthopedic doctor is a medical professional who has the education and skill to treat patients who are suffering from problems affecting the orthopedic system – bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. They can diagnose health problems, repair broken bones, and help treat pain and mobility disorders caused by health problems or illnesses.

  • Sports Medicine

Sports medicine is a branch of medicine that works with athletes and others who play sports or take part in physically demanding activities that may result in injury or other overuse-related problems. Therefore, it is closely related to physical therapy. Since athletes can experience certain issues that may be uncommon in the rest of the population, the doctors who specialize in this field have advanced knowledge of the body and issues that may arise from participating in various physical activities.
