Overview of WhidbeyHealth Medical Center

Our main campus in Coupeville opened as Whidbey General Hospital on March 10,1970 and has since undergone four major expansions, including the construction of a new 39-bed inpatient wing approved by voters in 2013. We have also expanded outpatient care, both at our main campus and at numerous locations around the island. In June 2016, the hospital was rechristened WhidbeyHealth Medical Center as we unified all services and locations under the WhidbeyHealth name
