Lavaca Medical Center is a 25-bed, rural, 86,409 square foot, critical access hospital located in Hallettsville, Texas.The service area includes the towns of Hallettsville, Shiner, Moulton, Sheridan, Flatonia, Sweet Home, Schulenburg, and Yoakum.
The facility has been in operation since 1977, and has undergone several renovations, with the last being completed in 2013. Services include: inpatient, outpatient, emergency, ambulatory, diagnostic, and therapeutic care. The Clinic at Lavaca Medical Center is located inside the facility.
