Centinela Hospital is proud to announce that it will soon begin construction on a total renovation of our
Maternal Child Services Department. Architect renderings of our new area show spacious LDR rooms so now you can labor, deliver and recover all in the same room! The rooms are all private so you don’t have to worry about sharing. Conveniently located on the same floor, we also have a state of the art operating room for C-sections as well as an updated nursing station.
Construction on Centinela Hospital’s expanded Emergency Department began early 2014. The project will increase the number of ER beds to 52. In addition, a new enlarged patient waiting area and a patient friendly admitting department are in the plan. Centinela Hospital’s current ER sees over 60,000 patients a year, ranking us as one of the top 10 busiest privately run ER’s in Los Angeles County.
